Qigong, Meditation & Tea Ceremony led by German Sanmateu

This workshop will explore breathing techniques and sacred movements that originate from the shamanic dances of the acupuncture meridians, which can support one's ability to explore their personal potential for natural healing. 

Shamanic Qigong draws from an ancient teaching, for cultivating good health and vitality. 

German Sanmateu is a poet, musician and healer, born into a family of shamanic “curanderos” in Argentina.

He has traveled extensively through the country to learn about the heart of culture, music and native traditional medicine.

German has been studying Taoist Alchemical Qigong and Energy Medicine under the Dantao Dragon Gate Lineage for Chinese Medicine.

His healing modalities include Taoist Meditation, Qigong sacred movements, healing sounds and traditional Chinese energy medicine (TCM).

 

No previous Qigong experience necessary, wear confortable clothes.

WHAT: AYURVEDA – THE SCIENCE OF LIFE!

In Ayurveda our food plays a prominent role in promoting health and is therefore considered medicine. Food nourishes not only the body but the mind and awareness as well. In Ayurveda food, drinks, and spices are categorized according to their taste (sweet, salty, sour, bitter, pungent and astringent), the energetic effect they have on the doshas, as well as their post-digestive effect on the tissues. Many of the spices used in Ayurveda cooking such as turmeric, ginger, cumin, fenugreek, coriander and cardamom are also medicinal herbs used in Ayurvedic Herbology. Cooking daily with those spices can greatly enhance digestion, absorption and assimilation of food, improve one’s appetite and elimination, nourish the internal organs and prevent doshic imbalance.

WHO: THE CULINARY ARTISTRY OF SEEMA AND ANUSHREE 

SEEMA JOHARI AGARWAL AND ANUSHREE AGARWAL are the daughter and granddaughter respectively of Shri Harish Johari who was considered one of the most highly respected spiritual teachers of India in contemporary times. Anushree's canvas is definitely the kitchen; the spice cabinet her palette. Even before she could talk, Anushree would assist her elders in creating Ayurvedic feasts from scratch, using organic ingredients sourced from her family's farms. Cooking is in her genes. Anushree's knowledge of the healing properties of various ingredients in Ayurveda - as well as specific cooking techniques and preparations - must be experienced to be believed. Her passion for cooking is simply contagius!

In her fun, inspiring manifestation workshop Satya Scainetti, Founder of Satya Jewelry will lead you through the sacred art of mala making and how malas are used in daily practice to help manifest miracles.
